About Me

Hello & Namaste

I am Ojash. I live in Milwaukee with two beautiful girls - my wife Prija and my daughter, Gia Rani. I was born and raised in Nepal, so moving to Wisconsin in 2000 was a big change. Since then, I have fallen in love with snow and freezing cold temperatures. Just kidding.

All kidding aside, I really enjoy living in Wisconsin -- I love the people and being able to experience all four seasons (winter is long, but they say global warming is changing that...). I’m a big Packer fan, but most of all I love the Milwaukee airport - no crowds :)

School & Education

High school from National Institute of Science & Technology from Kathmandu, Nepal.

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics & Computer System Management from UW-Whitewater

Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning and Data Mining from UW-Milwaukee.

I started my career at UW-Whitewater, converting their paper-based tutorial system into a web application.

Career & Work

In 2004, I joined Quad Graphics and worked on their Warehouse Management System. Three years later, I joined SysLogic, an information systems consulting and services company. I loved every aspect of the company -- from the people and the culture to my work. During my time at SysLogic, I was a software consultant for clients in a variety of sectors (retail, advertising, manufacturing, and healthcare).

Throughout my career, I’ve developed a passion for the use of creative problem solving to develop solutions that can help individuals, companies, and a society to prosper.

I work with a dynamic team to create web and mobile solutions to help businesses grow.

My Work

Ganga Ghar

Inspired by the smile of a 12 year old maid working in my mother’s home, I began the journey to help impoverished children in Nepal receive education and reach their full potential. I started Ganga Ghar in 2009, helping five children attend school. With the help of a growing network, the organization has now grown to support over 100 children and their families in 2012.
